Bigger Than Any Single Program

The Movement

A national community and resource hub for homeschool athletic programs — bringing shared wisdom, unifying identity, and practical tools to the people actually running these programs every day.

The Gap No One Is Filling

There are tournaments. There are ministries. But there is no national association providing year-round operational support, culture-building resources, and shared tooling for the people running homeschool sports programs.

OrganizationWhat They DoWhat They Don't Do
NHFAAnnual national tournament in Panama City Beach (~20-24 teams)No year-round program support, culture resources, or association services
AHFCNewer tournament in Gulf Shores, AL (6+ teams, 501c3, all fees waived 2026)Event-only — no operational support between tournaments
FCAMassive Christian sports ministry (HQ in Kansas City)Not homeschool-specific; focuses on individuals, not program operations
Upward Sports2,000+ church-based rec leagues, faith-driven youth developmentYouth-focused recreational leagues, not competitive high school programs
HSLDALegal defense and homeschool advocacy nationwide (100,000+ families)No sports-specific programming or coaching resources
CRU / Athletes in Action16,000+ staff, 190 countries. Athletes in Action on 225 campuses, 35 pro teamsCampus/pro athlete focus — no homeschool program infrastructure

HSLDA became the standard for homeschool legal protection — every homeschool family knows them. We want to build the equivalent for homeschool sports: the standard that arches over every state, every program, every sport. Operational support, culture building, shared tooling, and community for the people actually running these programs day-to-day.

What We're Building

National Homeschool Athletic Association (NHAA)

01

Shared Wisdom

White papers, case studies, and practical playbooks from programs that work — starting with Christ Prep's 20+ year track record.

02

Community

Monthly coaching calls, annual gatherings, coach retreats, parent conferences — regular rhythms that build trust over time.

03

Tools

Team Scout platform for communication, organization, merch sales, ticket sales, ad revenue, and community building.

04

Identity

Unified brand and merchandise that connects programs to each other — something players, parents, and coaches all want to wear.

05

Partnerships

NAIA Christian colleges, FCA chapters, business sponsors, and foundations that share our values and want to invest in the next generation.

Events & Gatherings

Not just coaches — parents, players, and families all have a role. “This isn't just on coaches. This is on you.”

Monthly Coaching Calls

30-45 minute Zoom calls with rotating topics: culture building, parent engagement, funding, leadership development, college recruiting.

When: Monthly, same day/timeWho: Coaches + key parent leaders

Tournament Gatherings

Informal dinners, roundtables, or breakfast meetings piggybacked onto existing events like NHFA or AHFC tournaments.

When: November (NHFA) + other tournament datesWho: 15-20 coaches in the room

Annual Retreat

1.5-day gathering (Friday afternoon through Saturday noon). Mix of keynote, panels, breakouts, dinner, fireside Q&A, devotional, and workshops.

When: Annually — Kansas City or a tournament cityWho: Coaches, parents, program leadership (30-60 people)

Regional Serve Days

Community service events that bring players, parents, and coaches together outside of competition. Build relationships that transcend the scoreboard.

When: 1-2x per year, regionalWho: Entire program families

Merch & Brand Identity

A unifying NHAA brand that players want to wear, moms are proud to sport, and coaches represent on the sideline. One identity across every homeschool program.

Hoodies

Heavyweight, quality feel. Shared brand + individual program co-branding option.

Quarter-Zips

Coach and parent favorite. Professional enough for sidelines and events.

T-Shirts

Players want to wear it. Bold brand, unifying slogan across all programs.

Hats

Structured snapback or dad hat. Subtle brand mark. Year-round wearable.

Think Turning Point USA — structurally, not politically. A grassroots, identity-driven movement where the merch IS the message. Programs co-brand with the association. Revenue funds the mission.

College Partnerships

99 NAIA football programs, many Christian-affiliated. No recruiting calendar means year-round communication. A pipeline of character-driven student athletes is exactly what they want.
